James Henry Smith

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for James Henry Smith, 95, will be May 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Jimmie Roberts officiating.  Burial will be in Marble City Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mr. Smith died on his birthday Saturday, April 28, 2012 in Sylacauga. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Lillian L. Smith; parents, Jacob and Viola Bell Smith; granddaughter, Theresa DeAnn (Smith) Franklin; and 8 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by four children, Peggy Green of Sylacauga, Doyle Smith of Denham Springs, LA, Judy Lowery of Sylacauga and Cathy Strawbridge of Sylacauga; his 97 year old sister who shares his birthday, Lularene Solley of Sylacauga; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday April 30, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Brandt Harrison, Joshua Loggins, Randy Brasher, Austin Brasher, Frankie Green and Justin Harrison.
