Y. Z. Browning East
Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Y. Z. Browning East, 80, will be Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Center Hill Methodist Church with Rev. Rodney Frost and Rev. George Webb officiating. Mrs. East will lie in state at the church one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
Mrs. East died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Emma Browning; brother, Mayo Browning; sisters, Etherene Griffith and Jewel Honeycutt. She worked in sales at the Diana Shop, Cohen's and Kitchens in Sylacauga. Mrs. East attended Center Hill U.M.C. for 75 years.
She is survived by her husband of 58 year, Billy Charles East of Sylacauga; sons, Barry East of Calera, Mark East, wife Stephanie of Sylacauga and Robbie East, wife Melanie of Stewartville; sisters, Marie Carroll Worthy and Katie Thornton both of Sylacauga; grandchildren, Jeff East, Robbie East Jr., Randall East and Brooklyn East, special darling; great-grandchildren, Taylor East, Eddie East and Mia East; step-grandchildren, Chloe Jarnagin, Tyler Jarnagin, Aaron Jarnagin and Hayley Jarnagin.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 14, 2012 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff East, Robbie East Jr., Randall East, Sam Talton, Danny Thornton and Ken Day.
