Sylacauga, AL - Cameron Aubrey Bearden (Big Sexy) passed away unexpectedly in Sylacauga, Alabama, at the age of 24.
Cameron is survived by his parents, Troy and Dee Bearden of Sylacauga. He is also survived by his sister, Sydney Bearden of Sylacauga. Cameron is preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Sue Stubblefield Bearden.
Cameron was born on October 3, 1993 in Sylacauga to Troy and Dee Bearden. He graduated from Coosa Central High School in 2013, where he had been an avid baseball and football player for the Central Coosa Cougars. Cameron went on to graduate from the Tulsa Welding School in Jackson, Florida in March of 2017. After graduation he went to work for Boilermakers Local 108 in Birmingham, Alabama. Cameron was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Childersburg, where his family has attended and served for many years.
Cameron's loss leaves a deep void in the hearts of so many family and friends who will miss him greatly. His impact on the lives of so many is evident in the words they use to describe him: happy, genuine, friendly, sweet, kind, considerate, determined, precious, caring, helpful, loving, my world, compassionate, charismatic, irreplaceable, fantastic, sweetheart, family, fun-loving, ours, my hero, perfect, and unforgettable. Clearly-Cameron made an impact with his life. We love you Cameron Bearden - and we will see you soon.
Cameron's funeral service will be Friday, January 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., at the Calvary Baptist Church of Childersburg. 904 3rd Street NW. Family will view at 4:30 p.m. and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Service will be performed by Pastor Paul Hickman and Pastor Ronnie Forbus from Calvary.
In lieu of flowers, a special Cameron Bearden Foundation fund has been set up at the Southern States Bank in Sylacauga to help with the many unexpected expenses. Checks to this fund must be made out to Troy or Dee Bearden. And please note in the memo - "Cameron Bearden Foundation".
