Murray Thomas Ingram
Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Murray Thomas Ingram, 76, will be Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Daniel Dean officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.
Mr. Ingram passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents J.W. and Lois Ingram and a brother, Earl Ingram.
He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad after 33 years of service as a Conductor. He was a member of Swamp Creek Primitive Baptist Church in Rockford. Mr. Ingram was also a member of Termites in Childersburg. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1965. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann Ingram; three sons, Terry Ingram, Murray Thomas "Tommy" Ingram, Jr., and Jeffrey Wayne (Bodean) Ingram; two daughters, Linda Ingram (Wayne) Brown and Tracy Ingram (Clay) Ryals; brother, Billy (Pat) Ingram; two sisters, Annie (Bill) Potter and Frances (Clyde) Aderhold; sister-in-law, Faye Ingram; 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, March 5, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
